Where We Can Serve
Partners Daniel Patchin and Ben Monaghan, count it a privilege to assist clients with their Estate Planning and Probate needs here in Idaho. After years of working together, Peters Patchin & Monaghan specializes in efficient Probate proceedings and the preparation of Wills, Trusts, and related documents that are short, simple, and affordable. The unique circumstances of every client are studied and assessed in determining and preparing the best Estate Plan possible.
Even for people who don’t live in the Treasure Valley here in Idaho, Peters Patchin & Monaghan can still provide the same expert services.
Estate Plan Assistance
All that is normally required for Estate Planning matters will be two office visits at our office in Eagle. The visits will usually be about two to three weeks apart.
At the first visit, your Free Initial Consultation, Daniel or Ben will review and discuss your completed Estate Planning Questionnaire and advise you of your options, including the pricing of each. If you want to think about that information before moving forward, you are free to do so without any further obligation.
If during that initial visit you decide how you would like to proceed, Daniel or Ben will then work through the many details of your preferred plan. Then a return visit will be scheduled, typically a couple of weeks after the first visit.
Between the two visits, we will prepare all of the documents that are needed and mail them to you in a printed or email format according to your preference. That way you can review them carefully and be prepared to have changes made and questions answered at the second meeting.
At your return visit, your questions will be answered and the documents will be finalized, signed, witnessed, notarized, recorded, and filed in order to complete the process.
Probate Assistance
Idaho probate matters can be handled by Peters Patchin & Monaghan with even less face-to-face time.
For those who reside in the Treasure Valley, typically your free initial consultation will occur at our offices in Eagle. Once you’ve given the “go ahead” to proceed, a follow up meeting takes place, usually within a week.
Between the two meetings, Daniel or Ben will prepare the documents that need to be signed and filed with the court in order to initiate the probate. After they have been signed and notarized, those documents will be used to obtain the probate judge’s approval of the Executor’s appointment.
The remaining steps in the process can usually then be handled without a face-to-face appointment. But, as always, if you have questions or concerns along the way, such meetings can be scheduled at no additional cost to you since our services are performed on a fixed-fee basis.
For Executors who reside outside of the Treasure Valley (Boise) area here in Idaho, all of the steps in the probate process can be handled on-line or via telephone consultations. Completed documents can be emailed or sent by postal mail for signatures and notarizations in the client’s home town.
In this way, even clients who live outside of the Treasure Valley can easily take advantage of the exceptional service and value offered by Peters Patchin & Monaghan!
